Hi all,

Sorry ive not been to an event since Let the right one in :( my band split up a while ago, i've been in hiding writing my new album. I'll be along soon to say hi and give thunder his silver ;). In the meantime here is a video taste of one of my new songs i just shot in Stockholm, Mary's Tea. It's based on Mary Ann cotton the victorian poisoner.... I'd love a bit of feedback as it is still at an early stage.

Cheers,

Beaye

After some other feedback i'm going to try adding a couple of elements. Most likely a slow cello if I can get a good player to help out, as synth strings will not sound right on this song.

Also alot of people seem to feel it should have a piano, but i'll have to be careful as I don't want to overload it. I initially wrote this song as a solo piece, but after jamming with Kinga I felt it was better of as a duet. I'm hoping the narrative has a bit more flow to it in this incarnation.

To hear Kinga's voice undamaged by my own, check out this spooky version on Over the Rainbow she recorded with Stefan Lundaahl the charming gentleman who recorded this video for me in Stockholm.

I like it too tongue, It sounds really good, but think you should play around with the your voice pitch or pace in harmony with Kinga's, plus believe adding the piano would sound wicked to balance the overall sound of tune.
